I thought I would share a photo to give you a great idea for a gift using the "Dakota" paper pack. I have done this a few times in the past with other paper packs. You just do a one page layout and buy a 12 x 12 frame. Want To See Some Masculine Thank You Cards? I Used The Dakota Paper Pack To Make Them!

I thought today I would share 3 cards that I made...Dawn Heuft, my scrapbook buddy and super amazing upline, made a cute card kit. The kit came with 3 different cards to make. I wasn't able to stay for the crop but bought the kit. Then I changed it...not because I didn't like her cards...I needed them for "Thank You" cards and didn't have the stamp set she used to make the cards...and one of the cards she made was to hold a gift card. Hopefully Dawn won't get mad I changed them up some.

These cards are for my children's teachers. Thursday is Back To School Night and I really appreciate that the teachers stay during the evening to meet with us. The cards are made using "Dakota" paper pack...I wanted the cards to be masculine since 2 of the 3 teachers are male. I think they came out cute...what do you think?

I thought today I would share with you a new product that came out in the Autumn / Winter 2012 catalog. I think you're really going to enjoy it! It's called "Make It From Your Heart, Volume 1". It is a softbound how-to publication...featuring 16 two-page layout patterns, 2 single-page patterns, and 12 different card patterns. Since it's softbound it's lightweight...which is great if you want to take it when you go to a crop...or even if you want to carry it while you're out and about (and might have some waiting to do) to check it out. I love taking a book to look at if I know I have someplace to go that I'll have to wait. I thought today I would share a layout I made using Studio J. I posted these photos (near the end of June) from our family road trip that we took in June. I thought it would be neat for you guys to see what can be done...photos to finished product.
